Production Method Of Pu Synthetic Leather

The production methods of PU Leather can be divided into three types: dry method, wet method and condensation and re-composition method.

Dry method (also known as coating method): PU resin is prepared into a sol with a certain solid content and a certain viscosity, and coated on the release paper as a carrier, and passed through an oven to control certain temperature, speed and other process conditions to make the solvent evaporate and form a film.

Then the adhesive layer is coated on it and compounded with the base fabric, and then peeled off from the release paper after drying, curing and cooling, and finally processed by printing and other processes to obtain dry PU synthetic leather. The release paper can be reused after rewinding on the paper machine.

Wet method: The base fabric is directly immersed in the prepared PU resin, and then washed and cured with a 25% dimethylformamide aqueous solution, then washed with hot water, and finally dried and post-treated to obtain wet PU synthetic leather.

Condensation coating method: The base fabric is immersed in the PU resin, washed and cured, and then coated with resin and post-treated to obtain condensation coating PU synthetic leather.

Practice has proved that the excellent properties of synthetic leather cannot be replaced by natural leather. From the analysis of domestic and foreign markets, synthetic leather has also replaced a large number of natural leather resources.

The use of artificial leather and synthetic leather for the decoration of bags, clothing, shoes, vehicles and furniture has been increasingly recognized by the market. Its wide range of applications, large quantity and variety are beyond the reach of traditional natural leather.
