At present, the coating resins for artificial leather and synthetic leather mainly include polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and polyurethane (PU). In our country, people are accustomed to using PVC resin (polyethylene oxide) as the artificial leather as the base layer, which is called PVC artificial leather (abbreviated as artificial leather, artificial leather), and using PU resin (polyurethane) as the base layer and interwoven warp and weft textiles as the base. As PU artificial leather (PU leather for short), artificial leather is produced using PU resin and non-woven fabric as raw materials. There is currently no unified name for PU artificial leather and PU synthetic leather.
However, people are accustomed to calling the two types of leather synthetic leather or PU leather, and the above three types of leather as artificial leather.

Wet PU is to add various additives to the dimethylformamide (DMF) solution of polyurethane to make a slurry, which is impregnated or spread on the base fabric, and then put in a solvent (DMF) that has affinity. In a liquid (such as water) that is incompatible with polyurethane resin, the solvent (DMF) is replaced by water, and the polyurethane resin gradually solidifies (water film forming method), thereby forming a porous film, that is, a microporous polyurethane particle surface layer plus a bottom layer Cloth, customarily called Base, means base material, which is a wet polyurethane semi-finished product. After the surface of Base is modified, it becomes a finished polyurethane synthetic leather product.
Generally used for: shoe leather, clothing leather, luggage leather, furniture leather, automobile leather, decorative leather, etc.~
